- We will be using paper envelopes and bags for the race kits and loot packs instead of plastic bags.
- We will be using paper cups instead of plastic ones at our water stations but we are encouraging participants to bring their own water tumblers to minimize the use of disposable cups.
- We invited Greenpeace, Haribon and WWF to set up an exhibit on climate change to help in the awareness campaign of this threat; and put up booths at the racing site where anyone can sign up, donate or volunteer.
- We are including global warming pamphlets and climate change solutions in the race kits.
- We are offering discounts (P50 off) to participants who bring in paper (newspapers, white and colored) and pet bottles that we will sell to SM or Trinoma during their recycle days.
- Philips will exchange new CFLs for your old incandescent bulbs during the run.
- We will be donating 5 shovels, 5 hoes, 5 picks, 5 rakes, 5 grub hoes and 2 wheel burrows to the Practical Arts Highschool Department of UPIS to support their organic farm.
- Philips will be turning over flourescent lights to UPIS.
- We are donating a shelfload of climate change and environmental manuals and CD's to UPIS so that the faculty, staff and students will have access to these.
- We will be touring the sponsors to the composting site in campus and organic farm in UPIS to do a ceremonial planting/ digging/ harvesting activity to signify their commitment in protecting the environment.
- Several groups (like CCA, UP Diliman zero-waste task force etc.) will be putting up booths showcasing recycled products done at their ecological centers and other projects to share how their establishments are helping in environmental preservation.
- We will be sponsoring a talk on climate change during UPIS Week in December at the UPIS Library and we will be featuring ongoing projects that address this problem.
- We are having a treeplanting project in January.
